Synopsis[]
Terra shares an update with the group, while Musa keeps a secret. Bloom strikes a risky bargain with Sebastian in exchange for startling information.
Plot[]
Bloom, Silva, and Rosalind try to set up a trap for Sebastian. However, it doesn’t work, and he now starts to grow stronger and stronger. Moreover, it soon clear that Sebastian has stolen all of Musa’s magic. Bloom and Sky reflect on recent events — and Bloom wonders if she’ll have to offer something to Sebastian. Sky suggests to offer Sebastian the Blood Magic book. Whilst Bloom is considering it, Aisha wants to find another way to defeat Sebastian. Later that night, as Sky guards the dorms, he gets attacked.
Later. Terra tells Bloom, Stella, and Musa that she’s gay, and they react with happiness and support. The next day, Sky returns from his night shift as though nothing has happened. But Rosalind and Silva are already aware that someone broke into campus, and Rosalind is already very suspicious of Sky. When Aisha’s plan to retrieve the book fails, Bloom wonders whether it’s now time to return back to the plan she made with Sky. Meanwhile, with Rosalind desperate to track down the mole, she places a solid screen to trap the students.
Due to not completing the ritual, Terra finds that her magic has been affected. When Bloom meets with Sebastian, he’s more than aware that she hates and he threatens the lives of innocent people. But Bloom tells him she is only meeting with him as she believes he is the only person who can get her friend’s magic back. He has an offer, she gives him the book, and he’ll tell her how to regain the magic her friend has lost. It’s a deal. Once the deal is made, Sebastian reveals he is from Aster Dell and that his Dad was obsessed with the Dragon Flame.
As Bloom is trapped in the first world, her friends turn to Rosalind for help. But they soon learn that Beatrix snitched on them, and Rosalind is hoping that Bloom will turn killer and put an end to Sebastian. However, it doesn’t look like she will kill him. In fact, Sebastian is able to tell her that Rosalind killed Farah Dowling and that she is buried in the graveyard near Alfea College.
Stella speaks to Beatrix about snitching. In response, Beatrix says that she needs to remain on Rosalind’s good side; otherwise, she’ll end up with nothing.
Later, Rosalind finds Bloom at the graveyard, just as she expected. Bloom tells Rosalind that she managed to make Sebastian believe that she could turn on Rosalind. However, Bloom tries to bluff her way through the conversation. Yet, Rosalind senses that something is wrong. Bloom asks Rosalind if this is the spot where she killed Dowling, and she confesses to the murder. After being confronted with her crime, Rosalind tries to kill Bloom. However, Bloom’s powers are much stronger than anyone thought, and she burns Rosalind to death. When her friends arrive on the scene, Bloom simply says, “I lost control”.
