Bloom Peters' birth mother is an unnamed fairy who previously wielded the Dragon Flame before passing it on to her daughter, the fairy that would become known as Bloom Peters. She sealed herself in the Realm of Darkness after killing thousands of people with the Dragon Flame.
Somehow, the details of what Bloom's birth mother did came to be known by the Blood Witch Sebastian Valtor.[1]
Fate: The Winx Saga[]
Pre-series[]
Bloom's birth mother was said to have been the hero who ended the Dominion Wars with the mighty power of the Dragon Flame. However, she subsequently lost control of the power and killed thousands of people in the process. After giving birth to a fairy daughter who would later be named Bloom by a human couple, she placed the child in a magical stasis when it was evident that Bloom inherited the Dragon Flame from her, not wanting her child to suffer the same burden as she did. Following this, she locked herself away in the Realm of Darkness out of guilt for her actions.
Season 1[]
For majority of the season after Bloom found she was a changeling. She naturally assumed her birth mother was dead because of The Aster Dell massacre which is where Rosalind Hale told her that she found her as infant there.
Season 2[]
In the final moments of the season and thus the whole series. Bloom comes an mysterious woman in the Realm of Darkness who is all but confirmed to be her mother.

Appearance[]
Her exact physical appearance is unknown, but brief glimpses of her shows that Bloom's birth mother has ginger hair and fair skin like her daughter.
Powers and Abilities[]
Bloom's birth mother wielded the Dragon Flame in the past, and was powerful enough to end the Dominion Wars with it. Much like her daughter, however, she lacked control over it and caused the deaths of thousands of people.

Bloom's birth mother cared greatly for her daughter, to the extent that she placed Bloom in a stasis to prevent her from being consumed by the great power of the Dragon Flame.
Changes from Winx Club[]
In the Winx Club 
series, Bloom's birth mother was Marion , the Queen of Domino.
Though the name of Bloom's birth mother is yet to be confirmed in Fate: The Winx Saga, the second episode of season 2 makes mention of a Marion in a book that Bloom was reading about the First Dominion. The passage reads:
- And so it was on that day, whence the Company of Light rained Hellfire on the Army of Darkness. But the bond between foes ne'er did break. And Marion vowed, bound at the breast, upon her life she would summon from the deepest corners of darkness a shadow power...
The details of this passage correspond to the information already known about Bloom's biological mother as the one who used the power of the Dragon Flame to end the Dominion Wars, but subsequently lost control of the power and killed thousands of people in the process. This suggests that Marion might be Bloom's biological mother in Fate: The Winx Saga.
