I have to admit, I was stumped until I borrowed a text from the Royal Archives with Arthur's permission. In it, I found an ancient creature called a scraper, a native from the Realm of Darkness. It feeds on magic.
Scrapers are magical creatures that originate from the Realm of Darkness. They feed on magic and were summoned by the Blood Witch Sebastian Valtor to steal the magic of fairies from Alfea College.
Overview[]
Scrapers are creatures from the Realm of Darkness that have the ability to steal magic. Their bodies have the appearance of a large centipede, and they are approximately one foot long. They have centipede-like legs along their body, which allow them to run on the ground and even crawl up on other surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, polls etc.
Their faces open up like flowers and on the center is their round mouth with sharp teeth. Their heads also have thin antennae, through which they can sense magic, and possibly even perceive the world in general, as they do not seem to have any other sensory perceptors to navigate, such as eyes or ears.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Magic Sensing: The Scrapers have the magical ability to sense and detect fairy magic. When they do that, their antennae glow in the color of the corresponding element they are sensing.
- Magic Absorption: The Scrapers have the power to steal magic by biting them, piercing their skin, and sucking off their magical energy. This ability is used in order for them to feed.
- Magic Transference: They are also capable of transferring the magic they have absorbed into another being. However, as they are said to feed on that magic, it is unknown if transferring it is a natural ability of theirs or the spell of a Blood Witch's magic.
