After discovering that Callum Hunter was murdered with magic, Farah Dowling instructed Professor Ben Harvey to create a relic to track the culprit's magic. Professor Harvey used Vessel Stones in a vial mixed with other ingredients, one of them being stripped hydrangea root. Ms. Dowling used the Vessel Stones at an Alfea assembly where Queen Luna of Solaria was speaking. Musa magically sensed the suspicion of the teachers present, and drew Terra and Aisha's attention to the vial of Vessel Stones in Ms. Dowling's hand.
