The Winx Suite is a dormitory in the Fairy Hall at Alfea College. Its current occupants are Aisha, Flora, Musa, Stella, and Terra Harvey.
Overview[]
The suite is an apartment-like dorm in Alfea. It has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen area. It is said to have a "crappy view".
Two of the bedrooms are made for two students, with twin beds and desks. The last one is made for one, and has a double bed as well as a desk.
The living room has a couple of couches, a bow window with a reading nook, and shelves with games and books.
The name of the suite appears on a sign attached to the top of the main doors when coming in.
Fate: The Winx Saga[]
Season 1[]
The Winx Suite is the home of Bloom, Stella, Aisha, Terra and Musa. Bloom and Aisha share one room, while Terra and Musa share another. Stella has her own room, though it is unknown whether it's because she's a second-year student or because she's the Princess of Solaria.
In To the Waters and the Wild, Terra decorates the living room with a large amount of plants.
Changes from Winx Club[]
The Winx's dormitory in Winx Club does not have a name. The rooms are assigned as follows: Bloom and Flora together, Musa and Tecna together, and Stella has a room all to herself. Aisha lives in a separate dormitory as she only joined the group in their second year at Alfea .
Trivia[]
- The filming location for the Winx Suite was in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.[1]
- Stella used to be roommates with her former best friend Ricki. It is unknown whether it was the Winx Suite or another dorm at Alfea.
- In the novel The Fairies' Path, Terra muses about the possibility of her and her suite mates calling themselves the "Winx Club", a nod to the cartoon which Fate: The Winx Saga is based on.
- In the Winx Club franchise, the term Winx has a multitude of meanings depending on the English dub of the series:
- The "Cinélume Dub ", also known as the "Rai English Dub", is the most faithful to the original Italian dub of the show and retained the original meaning of Winx. In this dub, Winx was a random word that Bloom came up with to name her group of friends. After the events of the first season, Headmistress Faragonda declared that Winx would become the official term for all modern fairies.
- The "4Kids Dub ", which deviated a lot from the original Italian dub, recontextualized Winx as a concept referring to the magical energy that all fairies draw their power from. Stella explained this to Bloom while showing her around Alfea the first time.
